Victoria Energy Summit February 29, 2012

In order to retain Texas' status as a leading energy sector state, and to continue to realize the broad economic benefits that accrue to Texas as a result of our vibrant energy sector, the Legislature must continue to pursue pro-growth policies that will allow the private sector to thrive and prosper, while consumers benefit from reliable and affordable supplies of energy.

To address the policy questions that underpin a pro-growth, pro-environment energy policy, the Texas Conservative Coalition Research Institute (TCCRI) will host three Energy Summits. The first Energy Summit will be in Victoria on February 29, 2012.

2012 TCCRI Speakers' Policy Forum April 17, 2012

On February 24, 2010, TCCRI hosted the first Speakers’ Policy Forum featuring Texas Speaker of the House Joe Straus and other House Speakers from across the South and Southwest region. This unique event, which TCCRI will continue to host in every even-numbered year, served as an opportunity to showcase our region’s strong economic success as compared to the rest of the United States.

Texas' record of economic success is the result of difficult decisions and fiscal responsibility.  At the 2012 Speakers' Policy Forum, we'll share our success story with leaders from other states, and we will have an opportunity to learn what other states are doing well.
