Houston Health Care Summit – October 2

Houston Health Care Summit – October 2

featuring -

State Senator Dan Patrick and State Representatives Sarah Davis and Larry Taylor

Tuesday, October 2 – 10am to 12pm at the Marriott at the Texas Medical Center (6580 Fannin St, Houston, TX 77030)

In light of the Supreme Court decision in NFIB v. Sebelius, which upheld the Patient Protection & Affordable Care Act (PPACA), the chief question confronting policy makers is: “What are the next steps for Texas?” There is much to debate and discuss about Medicaid, including additional cost controls and block grants. Policy makers will also discuss increasing access to care and potentially lowering costs through telemedicine and other technological solutions.

Please attend the Houston Health Care Summit for a robust discussion of these and other policy issues.
