- 2009 Black Tie & Boots Gala (January 28, 2009)At the 2009 Black Tie & Boots Gala, TCCRI honored Governor Rick Perry as the longest-serving Governor in the history of Texas, for his outstanding leadership, and for his adherence to and advancement of conservative principles.
- 2011 Black Tie & Boots Gala (February 7, 2009)The theme for the 2011 TCCRI Black Tie & Boots Gala was “A Salute to Conservative Leadership.” The program will recognized Texas’ conservative statewide elected officials’ invaluable contribution to our state’s record of success. Honorees were Attorney General Greg Abbott, Comptroller Susan Combs, Land Commissioner Jerry Patterson, and Agriculture Commissioner Todd Staples. Governor Rick Perry delivered a keynote address to help recognize our honorees.
