TCCRI will host an Economic Freedom Policy Summit in Austin featuring Chairman Tom Oliverson and other key legislators. The event will feature two panel discussions, the first focused on housing affordability and how local ordinances and regulations drive up the cost of housing, particularly in urban cores. The second panel will discuss financial freedom, particularly in relation to financial services, online delivery platforms, and peer-to-peer property rental industries. During the panel discussions, elected officials will be joined by private sector experts and stakeholders as we delve into how the 89th Texas Legislature can engage on these issues.
