Julia Crusius is a Policy Analyst at the Texas Conservative Coalition Research Institute.

Originally from Anchorage, Alaska, and Houston, Texas, Julia attended Trinity University, where she earned a degree in Economics and Public Policy. During her time at Trinity, she developed a passion for politics and became actively involved in campus political activism, political campaigns, and did public policy internships. 

After college, Julia served as a staffer in the Texas House of Representatives for three legislative sessions, including as Chief of Staff to a committee chairman. She has also remained active in Texas politics as a volunteer, including serving as State Chairman of the Young Conservatives of Texas.

Outside of politics, Julia enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter and being involved in the life of her church.
