On April 29, the House Select Committee on Artificial Intelligence & Emerging Technologies met in a public hearing to discuss how Texas can respond to the rapid technological developments that are integrating themselves into business operations and the daily lives of citizens. TCCRI's written testimony on the matter discusses several early and ongoing attempts to regulate AI, the considerations that should be taken into account by lawmakers seeking to regulate AI, as well as providing recommendations on crafting AI legislation.
