ABOUT OUR EVENT
TCCRI will hold an Energy Policy Summit featuring a keynote address from Texas Railroad Commissioner Christi Craddick, which will be followed by two panel discussions.
The first panel will focus on the current status of the state’s power grid. The discussion will touch on a variety of topics, including the reforms of the 88th and 89th Texas Legislatures, including the Texas Energy Fund, measures to address “large load” customers, and nuclear energy. Panelists will discuss how those reforms impact market participants and residential and commercial customers, as well as the issues the Legislature may need to address in the 90th Legislative Session.
The second panel will be focused on Texas oil & gas sector and the emergence of new energy technologies, such as hydrogen and geothermal. Panelists will delve into how these technologies can be used and what regulatory steps the state needs to take to ensure that Texas remains a leader in these technologies, alongside the ongoing growth of the traditional energy sector.
Elected officials will be joined by private sector experts and
stakeholders during both panel discussions.

The event will be hosted between 11:30am - 2:00pm. Lunch will be provided.
