ABOUT OUR EVENT

Please join TCCRI for a Free Enterprise & Government Regulation Policy Summit featuring Chairman Charles Perry from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 22nd, at the Austin Club. The summit will feature two panels, with one panel addressing the intersection of retail health and pharmacies, with particular emphasis on “test and treat” authority for pharmacists, as well as the role of pharmacists in providing immunizations.

The other panel will explore how the state and local government approach regulation of new and emerging industries, technologies, and products. In particular, the panel will discuss the approaches taken in Texas to the regulation of cell-cultured meat, consumer lending, and low-THC cannabis through the compassionate use program, and how to strike the proper balance between innovation and regulation.
